Ali is what everyone who knows me knows me by. It's short for Alison. I am the only daughter of James and Nancy and I lived most of my life in Southeastern PA until our move in 2000 to SW Florida.

The rest of the story...

My father is the scribe of the whole long family history, but in close proximity are my Pop Pop, Clifford; my Dad, James; my Mom, Nancy; my brother, Mike, and his wife, Suzanne, their daughters - first born, Lauryn, and second, Laiken; and the rest of the clan who knows who they are.

I graduated in 1991 from Antietam High School.  From there I went on to graduate from Albright College in 1996 with my BS in Biology, Chemistry and Nutrition. I finally finished all of my classes needed to continue on my way of becoming a Registered Dietitian. In 2007, I opened my own consulting business, Healthy for Life Nutrition Consulting, LLC.  I continue to contract to HCR-ManorCare, Inc. in Skilled Nursing Facilities.  I am studying the to take the exam to be a Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG).  I am also currently holding the positions of President-Elect and Webmaster of the Southwest Florida Dietetic Association.

Through Albright I became a sister and past president of the Phi Beta Chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity.  Of course, I'm proud of my own Phi Mu Family Tree!  I currently am the President & Webmaster of the Greater Naples Phi Mu Alumnae Chapter.

I met Shawn in November of 1995 and we've been together ever since. We were married on October 10, 1998.   Want to see some photos?  We moved to Southwest Florida in August 2000.  We live with our cat, Spooky, our Senegal Parrot, Tuki, and my little baby, Nicki.  One of my lifetime joys had been dancing and I started taking Ballet Classes in 2006 - currently at Naples Academy of Ballet.  We are also active in the Gulf Coast Runners, with whom I am a Board Member and Shawn is the Webmaster.

The last of my volunteer positions is Race Director for the Run for the Paws to benefit the Humane Society Naples.  Please visit the website and consider participating, sponsoring, or donating.  Thus far we have raised $12,000 for them.

One of my favorites... Snoopy!  Can you name all of the Peanuts?
