Maytag Performa Washer Repair -- The gutted washer. Notice the 6 springs. I was able to get all 6 unhooked from the front of the washer. A vice grips and a strong set of forearms is required. After disconnecting the springs the black drain hose on the right and small clear hose on the left have to be disconnected. Then flip it up and walk the pulley off. After that you can lift the entire washing tub out.
