6/22/02	Pottstown, PA	BB	Doubles	Grass	Rich	8-1 ? Place	Great Weather. We won a weak net 8-0. Rich and I played good ball all day. After a 2 + hour wait we lost in our first playoff game to a strong team 11-9. Although I was disappointed about the early playoff exit, overall the day was great. It was fantastic to see all the familiar faces. My body held up relatively well. I hope to make this an annual event. Nothing beats the Rumble in my book.
8/10/02	Siesta Keys, FL	BB	Doubles	Sand	Rich	6-1 1st Place	Fantastic location and typical Florida summer hot and steamy weather. We faced very good BB competition all day. In the beginning I thought we would be lucky to make playoffs because we were sloppy but managed to grind out some early wins. When we hit playoffs, instead of getting leads and squandering them as we have done recently, we put the teams away and won the division. Best prizes I ever received at a tournament. A+ experience. 10/13/02	Siesta Keys, FL	B	Doubles	Sand	Ali	0-5 Last Place	My last tournament for 2002. Middle October and it's mid 90's and humid, whew. We had a 6 team pool, 2 of the teams were major "baggers" both could have easily played A. All the other teams were solid as well. If they had a BB level they could have all played it. We hung in most games. Ali hustled but I really played sloppy. It was fun regardless. Our first time playing in a tournament together in 3 or 4 years. We will do it more next season and do better.
