Naples Daily News Half Marathon

2009 Volunteers

How to Volunteer with us

Over the years we’ve amassed a sort of extended family of volunteers, dedicated folks who surface out of the woodwork every year and show up at the NDN Half Marathon ready to chop bananas, shake up gallons of gator aid, direct traffic and hand out water cups to the athletes at our event

Many of them are athletes themselves, who have benefited from volunteers at past events and are out to return the favor. Many are friends and relatives of participants seeking to get involved and lend support beyond the emotional.

Whatever their motivation, our volunteers seem to have as much fun as our participants! So whether you’re a skilled water-hander-outer or just an aspiring one, we’d love you to join our family of volunteers.

Areas where volunteers are needed:

Race Packet Stuffing (January 14, 2009 3:30 PM) Naples Daily News, Central Avenue, Naples
